General Terms & Conditions for Race Registration

 

1. Acknowledgment and Acceptance
The participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and fully agreed to all race details, terms, and conditions prior to completing the registration.

2. Registration Fee Policy
All registration fees paid for any race category are non-refundable and non-cancellable under any circumstances.

3. Distance Change Policy

  • Participants may request a change to a higher or lower race distance by submitting an official request via the company’s designated email address.
  • In the case of upgrading to a longer distance, the participant must pay the applicable fee difference.
  • In the case of downgrading to a shorter distance, the fee difference will be refunded within seven (7) days after the race date.
  • All distance change requests must be submitted no later than seven (7) days prior to the race date.
  • No distance changes will be accepted after this deadline.

4. Use of Images and Recordings
The participant grants Joy Race the right to use photographs, audio recordings, video footage, and personal interviews taken during the race for media, promotional, and marketing purposes, including publication on the company’s website and social media platforms.

5. Health and Medical Responsibility
The participant confirms that they are medically and physically fit to participate in the race for the registered distance and accepts full responsibility for their health condition.
 The participant also agrees that Joy Race may provide first aid or necessary medical care in the event of injury or a medical emergency during the race.

6. Compliance with Laws and Public Decency
The participant agrees to comply with all laws, regulations, and instructions issued by the competent authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Public Decency Regulations issued under Council of Ministers Resolution No. (444) dated 04/08/1440 AH, and any future amendments thereto.

7. Accompaniment of Children and Participants with Disabilities
Children and participants with disabilities must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the duration of the race.

8. Race Prizes
Race prizes will be awarded no earlier than fifteen (15) working days after the race date, following the official review and approval of the results.

9. Late Registration
Participants who register within three (3) days prior to the race date are not eligible to compete for podium placements or top-position prizes.

10. Race Bib Numbers

  • Race bib numbers will be distributed prior to the race, and collection details will be announced on the official website.
  • Participants must wear the official race bib clearly and in the designated position throughout the race.
  • Failure to wear or loss of the race bib may result in disqualification.

11. Non-Transferable Registration
Race registration is personal and non-transferable.
 The race bib may not be transferred or given to another person if the registered participant is unable to attend.

12. Official Communication
All official communications related to the race, including requests, notifications, updates, and any correspondence, shall be conducted exclusively via email through the official email address of Joy Race. Joy Race shall not be responsible for any communications made through other channels.
